Connect Phone to DoctorAssist for Clinic Appointments

Connect phone calls to DoctorAssist Appointments so a voice assistant can identify the visit, find a clinic option, and record the result.

Patients explain a visit in ordinary language. They may ask for a follow-up, a doctor at a particular location, or the next available appointment. DoctorAssist still needs a patient path, visit type, clinic, and time before the front desk has a usable result.

Aima connects phone automation to DoctorAssist Appointments. The voice assistant asks for the details that matter, checks the clinic options, and records the scheduling action in the system the team already uses.

What the call can do

  • Match a returning patient or start the flow for a new visit.
  • List doctors, locations, and visit types that fit the request.
  • Read the available clinic slots before offering a time.
  • Book, update, reschedule, or cancel the configured appointment.

A phone workflow for appointment requests

  1. The caller explains the reason for the visit.
  2. The assistant confirms the patient path, location, visit type, and preferred timing.
  3. It checks DoctorAssist for matching slots.
  4. The caller chooses an option, or the call transfers with the collected context.
  5. The assistant confirms the appointment action and next step.

DoctorAssist contains the scheduling result after the call, so staff do not have to interpret a transcript and enter it later.

Start with one clinic path

Choose one location or high-volume visit type. Review the questions, slot selection, and staff handoffs before adding more appointment paths.
